This may be your own premises or another suitable training location that is convenient for you. If you do not have a venue available we can explore options and potentially offer you the use of our training venue in Blaydon.
The On-site training option is particularly cost effective to those who have several people requiring training at the same time. In addition to this there are several other benefits to organising an On-site First Aid course:

On-site training courses
Fire Marshal Training + Extinguisher 4 hours
This course is suitable for people who are responsible for fire safety or who are designated fire marshals in their workplace. No prior knowledge of fire safety is required.
Course Syllabus
To provide learners with the knowledge required to ensure good fire safety measures in the workplace and to carry out their role as a Fire Marshal. Fire Marshals play an essential role in contributing to fire safety by following fire safety control measures, being alert to issues relating to fire safety, and knowing how to lead a safe evacuation in an emergency.
Syllabus
A range of subjects are covered including:
• Fire legislation
• The basic chemistry of fire and its differing classes
• Fire fighting procedures
• Causes of fires and their prevention
• Emergency lighting
• Fixed fire fighting installations
• Evacuation assembly point and fire drills
• Fire alarms
• Fire hazards
• Routine fire safety inspections and maintaining a fire log
• Risk assessment awareness
• Extinguisher recognition and use
A practical will take place which will include the use of fire extinguishers. A certificate will be issued in line with our membership with the Fire Protection Association (FPA). The attendance certificate is issued through First Aid North East and is valid for 3 years from the date of the training.
