This course is ideal for people who work in low risk working environments. It will equip individuals with emergency first aid skills. Participants will gain all the background knowledge you will need to take charge in a first aid emergency in the workplace.

- Roles and Responsibilities
- Basic Hygiene in First Aid
- Priorities of First Aid
- Initial Casualty Assessment
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Dealing with an Unresponsive Casualty (including Seizures)
- Choking
- Anaphylaxis
- Shock
- Bleeding Control
- Burns
- Other Minor Injuries
